During the Covid-19 crisis, many schools and establishments of Te Tai Tokerau have had to adopt new behaviours to stay safe. This pandemic has allowed large companies to raise the price of hygiene products and exploit our iwi whānui. This is not fair on anyone. Large profit margins are used because we can not refuse them. Far North Hygiene has been established to combat this and offer our community a better option. Founded by young entrepreneur Ethan Cable, a student at Kaitaia College, Far North Hygiene can produce hand sanitiser locally. Using New Zealand sourced ingredients, this means that no matter what happens outside Aotearoa, we will still be able to create and supply. The hand sanitiser being produced is hospital grade and guaranteed to be able to keep you safe.
We sell 500ml bottles of our hospital-grade sanitiser in packs of 10. We can, however, tailor our packages to fit you and your needs. If you are interested in supporting our local business, contact us for a quote, and we can begin manufacturing. Due to current demand, this may take up to two weeks. However, we are expanding our facilities so that this delay will not happen again.
